The Handy Gas Man is proud to announce our new Private Utility Locating Service, serving Pender, New Hanover, and Brunswick counties. We help homeowners and contractors find those critical "beyond the meter" lines, including: Private Electric (to sheds, pools, lights) Irrigation Systems Private Gas Lines (like to a detached grill or fire pit) Septic Lines (if traceable) And more! Peace of Mind: Dig with confidence, knowing what's below. Important Note: We primarily locate lines with tracer wires or metallic components. Minimum Charge: A minimum charge of $175.00 applies to all service calls, which includes the first hour of on-site service. Time beyond the first hour will be billed in 15-minute increments (e.g., $43.75 per 15 minutes). Estimates/Bids: For larger or more complex projects, The Handy Gas Man may provide a custom, flat-rate bid. This will be provided in writing and signed by both parties before service commencement. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept credit cards, checks, cash.
